Oops, We Did It Again: We Bought a Farmhouse in Prince Edward County!

If you’re a regular reader of our blog, you already know that we’re HUGE fans of Prince Edward County. We bought this country house in one of our favourite parts of the County, Bloomfield, in 2016:

Last fall, we launched a website to make buying a second home or investment property in the County easier:

But we couldn’t stop there.

We’ve been so excited about the real estate opportunities in Prince Edward County that we’ve been on the hunt for an investment property to rent out short-term. After a fairly lengthy search, we fell in love!

So what did we buy?

• A farmhouse (circa 1860)
• A coach house
• And a BIG RED BARN! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Our new properties are located on 2.5 acres in one of the hottest parts of the County: West Lake, just a 4 minute drive from Sandbanks Provincial Park (or a 10-minute bike ride).

Make no mistake about it: the County real estate market is HOT! We got into a 3-person bidding war for this house less than 48 hours after it was listed for sale….and it’s JANUARY!

The Farmhouse and the Coach House will be available for rent starting April 1st. If you like beaches, wineries, craft breweries and art…the County may just be your perfect getaway! And it’s just a couple of hours drive from Toronto.
