About Gage Park
The neighbourhood is “Gage Park”and its proximity to the park itself is key. It’s the largest park in the city and it includes two playgrounds, splash pad and wading pool, greenhouse, Children’s Museum, baseball field, skating rink. It is the site of many food and music festivals throughout the summer plus the CP Holiday Train stops here at Christmas time.
The community is very tight knit – it’s a great mix of longtime residents and newcomers. There are a lot of families with kids in the neighbourhood.
It’s an older neighbourhood with wide streets and mature trees. The escarpment is to the south – creates some lovely views.
Local favourite Cafe Baffico is just one block away – incredible Italian pastries, donuts and coffee plus a well-curated bottle shop which sells craft wine and beer not available in the LCBO
The house is about a 10 minute walk to the cafes, gourmet food shops and antique stores of the Ottawa Street North District
