We love the Canadian Real Estate 6 in 1 Calculator. It’s the best mortgage, CMHC and land transfer calculator out there.
Must-Have App #4: Google Maps App
Useful for when you get lost on the open house circuit, or for those times your REALTOR brings you to see a house and you’re too embarrassed to say you have no idea where you are.
Real Estate App #5: Transit App
The TTC Trip Planner – more of a mobile site than an app – helps you figure out your commute options and see bus, streetcar and subway times.
Must-Have App #6: Yelp
Yelp is a great reviews tool for researching the best restaurants, pubs, spas, grocery stores and more. Use it to help you discover all the great places in your new neighbourhood.
Real Estate App #7: Around Me
Considering buying the Around Me to use in neighbourhoods you aren’t really familiar with. Find the nearest banks, bar, coffee shops, gas stations, hospitals and more in just a couple of clicks.
Must-Have App #8: School Locator
By far one of my favourite real estate apps, School Locator lets you find out what Toronto schools are nearby and see their rankings. Brilliant!
