The Edge Lofts is a mid-rise 6 storey building located on the south side of Queen East set along the edge of the DVP’s eastern edge. Suites ranging in size from 654 to nearly 1100 square feet all offer 10-foot ceilings and rely largely on polished concrete flooring and exposed ductwork to provide the ‘loft’ feel.

This building’s six stories leave it with a profile taller than most of its surroundings (for the moment), and as such many of the suites (especially the west-facing ones) and the rooftop garden offer spectacular views of the downtown skyline and the waterfront.

Edge Lofts is constructed primarily of glass and described as a “bold geometric shape”. It’s fairly square if you ask us, though not visually unappealing, and the floor to ceiling windows offer excellent views to the south and west. Open concept layouts and fashionable kitchens make these suites attractive, and the wealth of positive change manifesting in great restaurants and coffee shops right outside the door here leave you with a great spot to call home!

What We LOVE : The Edge’s location, is an east-end hip spot, with easy access to highways and transit, and the well-designed spaces. We are big fans of almost everything Streetcar Developments does, so the future is bright.

What We Don’t: Although nothing is going to obstruct the view to the west over the DVP (there’s no room), change is coming to the east, which means construction along with the positives.
