My Life Before Real Estate
Early in the 1980s, I emigrated to Canada from Poland, and before relocating to Toronto, I resided in Hamilton and Mississauga. I excelled in sports and eventually earned a degree in physical education with honours. While my husband performed on tour, I had my twin girls and took care of them. I resumed my career as a personal trainer, instructing exercise sessions to pregnant women and new moms. It made sense for me to obtain my real estate license after making a few real estate investments, and the rest is history.
What I love About Being a REALTOR
Building relationships with people is the most rewarding part of the job. Every client’s needs and desires are so unique and aiding them in achieving those is so satisfying.
Why I Love Helping Buyers
Working with first time buyers is very different from working with seasoned buyers. I love the educational component of working with first time buyers, building their confidence and making the process exciting and enjoyable, as it should be. It’s also great to offer insights to veteran buyers.
Favourite Buyer Story
Working with repeat customers is my favourite. I feel like a proud real estate mom going through the process with the same buyers on a second purchase and seeing how much knowledge they gained from their first. In one instance, the client was quite knowledgeable about what to look for, how to evaluate a home, how to ask the right questions, and even how to participate in negotiations using strategies I had taught her.
Why I Love Helping Sellers
I love the home preparation stage. Sellers are often surprised by the transformation that their homes undergo, and often wonder if they really want to sell once they see the finished product! Providing guidance and honesty about the challenges of selling a home makes for a much smoother transition.
Favourite Seller Story
When time is of the essence and a client is experiencing difficulties, the sale of a home becomes more than just a transaction; it becomes a mission, and it is impossible not to become emotionally involved. When that sale goes as smoothly as possible in an uncertain market, the satisfaction of knowing that you helped someone get through a difficult time and relieved stress that would have added to the chaos is extremely rewarding. The cherry on top was when one of our teammates was able to assist the same sellers with a purchase in another city.
My Life Outside of Real Estate
First and foremost I am a mom and I am a wife. I love to experience new foods, cultures and music. Whether that is through travel or trying new things at home I love experiencing growth through new sensations.

I have personally purchased numerous properties and so I know intimately, from experience, the many challenges that a buyer can face. I am extremely empathetic and always put my client’s needs first and foremost. I am not pushy and will take as much time as a client needs to be comfortable with their purchasing decision.
