Welcome To Forest Hill

Welcome to Toronto’s Forest Hill neighbourhood!
Bordered by Eglinton West (to the North), Oriole Parkway (to the East), St.Clair Avenue West (to the South), and Bathurst Street (to the West). this pocket of Toronto Real Estate is expensive – and for good reason.
Forest Hill is a neighbourhood with an immaculate reputation. Residents here are offered a scenic (and downright fancy) environment rivaled only by the likes of Rosedale, North Toronto, or Lawrence Park.
With parks, walking trails, boutique shopping, cafes, restaurants, and highly-regarded schools within a short walk or drive away, residents of Forest Hill have just about everything a young family could ask for – right at their fingertips.

Your Typical Neighbour

Your typical Forest Hill neighbour is a professional family or retirees – well-heeled, educated, well-travelled, and well-connected.

What We Love

Homes in Forest Hill are generally grand in size, with immaculately landscaped gardens and stately facades. There remain a few medium/smaller sized homes, condos and apartments to add some flavour, but the prime streets in Forest hill are big, beautiful and costly. The area’s cutural and shopping hub is Forest Hill Village (aka “the Vil'”) with a fun cluster of restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and groceries.

What We Don’t Love

This is an expensive area, and with that a lot of city grit is omitted in favour of ‘white picket fences’ (although it’s more likely to be wrought iron). If you’re looking for an urban landscape with action and energy, then you might want to head elsewhere. This is a family-oriented neighbourhood and despite its central location it can sometimes feel even sleepy.

The Real Estate Scoop

Homes here are well kept, with extreme pride of ownership and situated on well-maintained lots – generally selling in the multi-million dollar range… so don’t be afraid to dig deep into your pockets if this is where you want to settle down.

Transit

Forest Hill has a transit score of  80 and is minutes walk to numerous bus routes that connect residents to the city’s transit subway lines. For motorists, Allen Expressway is easily accessed from Eglinton Avenue West.
